A drone is only as good as the day you can fly it. A few accessories make the difference between one short flight and a full day of shooting.

Extra batteries

Flight time per battery is limited, so a second or third battery is the most useful upgrade. Charge batteries fully before use, and for storage over several days keep them partly charged in a cool place rather than left full.

Memory cards

High-resolution video needs a fast card. Use a well-known brand and a card speed rating recommended for your drone, and carry a spare.

Spare propellers

Propellers can chip on a rough landing. A spare set is inexpensive and saves a trip.

Carry bag and landing pad

A padded case protects the drone, and a small landing pad keeps dust and grass away from the camera and motors.

Charging hub and ND filters

A multi-battery charging hub saves time on a shoot, and ND filters help you keep smooth, cinematic video in bright sunlight.
